Scripture Reading ... Matthew 15:30-39

Jesus spoke many great things, but His ministry did not exist with words alone. Jesus was a man of action. He helped many people with physical needs as well.

As the scripture above shows, Jesus saw the need of the people gathered with him. His only goal here was to fill this need. He knew they were hungry and needed to be fed, but only a small amount of food could be found. Jesus gave thanks for the food found and began to share it with those with him. Everyone there was fed untill they were filled. Much more food was left over to be eaten at a later time.

The blessings gained by giving is great. We may not have much, but everything we have we owe to God. We should be grateful for it, and we should share it with those in need. The blessings gained are far greater then the cost of what is being given.
